These instructions are for trouble shooting with two display screens
If both of your screens are displaying the same image
- Right click on your Home Screen and click DISPLAY SETTINGS
- You should see an icon with one box labeled 1/2 it meaning both screens are displaying the same thing
- Go to MULTIPLE DISPLAYS and then click EXTEND THESE DISPLAYS
- It will ask you if you want to keep the new display settings, click KEEP CHANGES
- If you scroll to the top of the Display Settings you should see an icon with two boxes, each labeled 1 and 2
6. If you click identify it will tell you if you are currently looking at screen 1 or 2, make sure screen number 1 is on the left side to make it easier to drag items in the future
7. If your icon does not reflect your computer setup you can drag the two icon in front of the 1 and then click APPLY
How to set your main screen (the screen with all of your icons on it)
- Right click on your Home Screen and click DISPLAY SETTINGS
- Click the icon for the monitor you want to be the main screen (1or2)
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and check the box Make this my main display
