An internet speed test tells you how well your internet is running, and should only take a few minutes.
How to run an internet speed test.
- Navigate to google chrome
- Search “internet speed test” into google
- Select the blue RUN TEST NOW button
- The speed test will run your upload and download speed. For your device to run most of the things you will use from home, you will need an internet speed of at least 40Mbps (for both upload and download). Your final upload and download speed will be presented at the end, along with a speed rating and possible suggestion. If your internet speed is below 40Mbps you should contact your internet provider or try to find alternate methods such as using an ethernet cable.
