When you try to connect to any resources that require you to provide your identity to continue, you should be prompted to enter your NetID and password on a page that looks like this:

Occasionally, this page fails to load for reasons that are beyond the scope of this article. This will usually result in an Error 400: Bad Request or something similar.
To resolve this, we can purge your cache and session cookie for the colostate domain. The process is roughly equivalent on modern browsers, but please follow the instructions for the browser you are using, below:
Chrome
Copy paste the following link into your URL bar: chrome://settings/content/all?searchSubpage=colostate.edu&search=cookies
And then click clear displayed data

Then close and reload Chrome. You should now be able to reach NetID protected resources.
Edge
Copy paste the following link into your URL bar: edge://settings/siteData?search=cookies
Then type colostate into the Search cookies bar.

Then click Remove all shown.

Then select Clear
Close then reopen Edge. You should now be able to reach NetID protected resources.
Firefox
For Firefox, copy paste the following into your address bar: about:preferences#privacy
and hit the M key or scroll down to Manage Data...
In the Manage Cookies and Site Data modal, enter colostate

Then hit
Remove All Shown
Then Save Changes
From here, after these changes are committed you can close and reload Firefox. Now you should be able to hit any website that is NetID protected.
Safari
With Safari open, in the toolbar select Safari > Settings then the settings pane will open up. Select the Privacy ✋ tab. From here select Manage Website Data.
In the search bar, type
colostate, then highlight
colostate.edu so the selection turns blue.
Then select Remove, and then confirm. Close and reopen Safari, then you should now be able to reach NetID protected resources.
